KBL Quick Dye - “In 2004 I introduced this new cold dip. It is quite unique in that it is capable of coating a brand new trap (with factory grease) a dark black color. I’m certain you’ll find this a first class cold dip.”-Kyle
Directions: Mix 3 parts unleaded gas with one part KBL Quick Dye to give traps or snares a rust resistant, odorless finish. (Use white gas/Coleman Lantern Fuel for best results, if using gasoline use a higher octane.) When using mineral spirits, mix 2 parts to 1 part KBL Quick Dye. Stir mixture well before dipping traps. Traps/snares should be degreased and allowed to rust slightly before dipping traps. Traps/snares should be degreased and allowed to rust slightly before dipping with KBL Quick Dye. Traps should be dipped (for 20-30 seconds) and hung to dry in warm weather - 65 degrees or warmer. KBL Quick Dye will coat best during hot days. Avoid direct sunlight during storage time. One quart will dye about 2 dozen small traps (#1 longsprings/#110 body-grips) or 1 dozen larger traps (MB-750's or 330's) Commonly Asked Questions: Q: Will KBL Quick Dye mix with other brands of cold dip? A: Yes, KBL Quick Dye will mix with other brands. Q: Can I use KBL Quick Dye on predator traps? A: Yes, KBL Quick Dye dries better than any dip on the market! If you dip your traps well ahead of season, they should dry and be totally odorless by trapping season. Many trappers that catch way more coyotes and fox than I do use KBL Quick Dye. Many customers have compared KBL Quick Dye to the no longer made Aaron’s cold dip. Brown Quart - $9.00 Brown Gallon - $27.00 Black Quart - $8.50 Black Gallon - $26.50

20 lb. Cover Hulls - Bag of clean, select buckwheat hulls used to cover your traps the same as you would with dirt. For best results layer at the set with dry dirt. Cover Hulls are non-absorbent so help reduce the odds of sets freezing! Each - $27.00 3 bags - $72.00
10 lb. Flake Wax - Making weatherproof dirt has never been easier! Depending on your soil it will take from 1/2 lb. to 3/4 lb. of flake wax to treat one gallon of dirt. It’s easiest to make during the warm summer months, by first laying dry, sifted dirt out on a tarp, then mix in the flake wax, and then lay another tarp on top the mix. The summer heat will melt the wax in the dirt. It can then be put up in buckets or totes until needed. This wax is very fine, for easier mixing! When shipping in warmer weather (90 degree plus) you’ll notice it will tend to clump together. Don’t worry if this happens, flake wax will break apart by hand, and in extreme circumstances you can use a rubber mallet to break it apart. *** Can also be used to wax traps! Each - $20.00 4 bags - $74.00
1 lb. Flake Calcium Chloride - A sprinkling of antifreeze in the bottom of your trap bed, and another light layer before you finish sifting dirt over your set will help keep your traps working in freezing weather.
